October 6 Westside Art Openings

Russo Lee Gallery is now a project of the long time gallery director Martha Lee with the passing of Laura Russo. This month and next, they launch a 30 year retrospective and a printed catalog. The Russo gallery descended from Arleen Schnitzer's Fountain Gallery. It has represented many Portland artists who moved to New York and PNCA faculty. Over the last few years they have made bold moves to represent new young artists. Check Samantha Wall works.

Retrospectives are always a great opportunity to experience the zeitgiest of a gallery.
