June 1 Westside Art Openings

Blue Sky has a longtime relationship with Lithuanian photographers going back to Jeffrey Crater visiting in person. The country has long running photography societies which even in Soviet times brought film and paper into the country when that was very difficult. They created discussion and photography book libraries before the Internet.

Rimaldas Vikšraitis (1954-) lenses the rural poverty of his country in transition from the Soviet era and young people moving to cities.

Safi Alia Shabaik has Personality Crash: Portraits of My Father Who Suffered from Advanced Stages of Parkinson's Disease, Dementia and Sundowners Syndrome.

Jerry Mayer brings his minimal paper sculpture works.
