October 2 - 4 Moving Movies

Most people in the world dance. Dance is a many branch tree. One branch is modern and contemorary dance performed on stage. The Portland Dance Film Festival is the movie version. Dance is documented straight through by rules. Much more engaging, the Portland Dance Film Festival wants stories told with dance allbeit abstract. I have seen several years of what they do and recommend it. It would be good for dance students. The Portland Dance Film Festival https://portlanddancefilmfest.com at The Portland Art Museum Tomorrow Theater 3530 SE Division 7PM each day, add 4PM Sunday for a talk. $15
