Getting To Know You(Tube)! was a series launched in 2011 by artists Stefan Ransom and Crystal Baxley, https://pica.org/artists/CrystalBaxley&StefanRansom, with Mike Merrill at the Hollywood Theater. It operated to mid-2016. It was an OG social practice art project.

Artists bring obsessive works they have found on YouTube and show them. Their algorithm is not your algorithm, so you may see some unusual-to-you short movies. The selection of presenters through its original about 5 year cycle is an impressive record. Getting To Know You(Tube)! returns tonight to the Boathouse.
