The En Foco Fellowship has been operating for 50 years from the Bronx https://enfoco.org/. In its partnership with Blue Sky it expands Portland's curatorial horizon. From El Foco, Andrew Kung https://www.apkung.com/ recontextualizes the Hudson River School. The images Asian American men in a pastoral setting parallel in concept to Justine Kurland's Girl Pictures. China had a dispora as mercantilism rose, resulting in men leaving their families and working in anything but partoral settings in the US. Gwen Davidson has Shorelines, coastal landscapes. It accompanies a retrospective show for the gallery.
