Portland is not the hip hop capital of the world. But like everywhere, it has an active b-boy/b-girl community. In that amazing world, an interchange of moves and creativity, B-Boy/Girls battle in a nonviolent way. We need more of that. Tonight is the first of a six session battle for cash money, and feeing into a West Coast competition. In a dramatic oddity, the competition takes place in a boxing ring erected in the venue for another event.
