Ampersand is a tightly curated art book store with a very fine focus on photography. They hunt vintage prints, by known and anonymous image makers. They curate shows, often photo-based, and even publish photographers books. They have been operating three years on Alberta and they are expanding to include the Together space next door. Tonight is a celebration of all that. They also open several shows in the expanded space: watercolor figures by Dan Gluibizzi, figure paintings by Chris Crites, Polish and Russian posters from the 1950-60's and drafting exercises from a French student made between 1902 and 1904.
