March 14 Science Oil Science

Two artists who are in the inaugural show The Sum of Its Parts - Part 1, Brian Borello and Laura Fritz, speak about their work this afternoon. Borello is known for public art in New Orleans and Portland, and for his Guns in the Hands of Artists project. This show has minimal paintings of used motor oil on a white field. Carl & Sloan Contemporary opens with Testable Predictions, paintings and sculpture by Amy Bernstein, Perry Doane and Michelle Liccardo. The title is based on the scentific method.
