March 4 Brain on Energy
Amory Lovins studied the intersection of energy, physics and economics at Harvard and Oxford. He was the first to bring back to earth inflated and costly plans to build hundreds of new power plants. His thesis, resisted mightily by electric utilities in the time, has proved true: energy efficiency is more cost effective than endless growth in generation and mining fossil fuels. Loving speaks today on Disruptive Oil and Electricity Futures. He has successfully disrupted them before, and continues to do so today.
