Hunter Noack is a gifted classical pianist. He has arranged a series of ten concerts outdoors inspired by the concerts of the Work Projects Administration during the Great Depression. They are free or by donation.
Each program is different. He will be joined by vocal, cello and violin collaborators Thomas Lauderdale, China Forbes, Carl Halvorson, Nicholas Crosa and Pansy Chang.
The concerts will be at the Columbia Gorge Vista House, Timberline Lodge, Tryon Creek State Park, the Oneonta Tunnel, Hoyt Arboretum, McIver Park, Hagg Lake, Director Park, Stein-Boozier Barn at Memorial Park and Cathedral Park.
The audience will listen through headphones. There are 100 headphones, so to listen, reserve a spot at https://www.eventbrite.com/d/or--portland/hunter-noack%27s-in-a-landscape/?mode=search
Each concert has free tickets and some by donation tickets. This event is highly recommended.
