July 7 Eastside Art Openings

Newspace Center for Photography permanently closes tonight. They continue 2 weeks of scheduled youth classes. They homed a community, created a place for learning and experimenting, they curated great shows.

Object Memory is a show by Eli Coplan, Addie Lehuauakea Fernandez and Kalaija Mallery. Inspired by shape memory metal alloys, the show captures the interpretations by the artists of memory projected into space and shapes returning to form after deformation. Lightleak is a project by Oregon Portland protographers to visit LA in Portland winter for a photo expedition.
