Portland civic discourse activists the Portland City Club sponsor a talk by Space Syntax, pedestrian planners with a very cool name. While automobile traffic planning is subject to extensive standard models, pedestrian planning has been intuitive and seat of the pants. No more, space syntax has become one of the world's experts on predicting where pedestrians will go.
