June 21 Art Philosophy Talk

Metaphysics has been a tool for me. I've dug deep enough to bend it to my uses but no deeper. Others go deep, deep, deep into philosophy. One is Thomas Zummer, who has personally studied with Foucault, Derrida, Eco, Ricoeur and Searle. He is an artist, as well, with notable exhibitions internationally. You can see his bio here. He's able to apply those philosophical experiences to pop culture semiotics, for instance to monsters.
