March 13-17 Skeleton Flower

Seattle's Degenerate Art Ensemble is a long operating musical and performance project. They are inspired by the Japanese modern dance theater Butoh and contemporary music composition. The skeleton flower, diphylleia grayi, has a magical property. When it rains, the petals become transparent, like glass. Skeleton Flower is the new performance by the Degenerate Art Ensemble. It tells a personal, not as rare as it should be, story of family trauma; and, not as common as it should be, transcendence through creative endeavors. This is a very popular event in an intimate venue with a basis in psychodrama. Degenerate Art Ensemble http://www.degenerateartensemble.com/ at the Erickson Theatre 1524 Harvard Ave, Seattle $25
