February 20 Caldera

Caldera is expanding its visibility. It started as a summer art program for kids that otherwise wouldn't otherwise have opportunities to explore art. It combines an environmental dimension to contemporary art making. That fits well with it's location, nestled in the woods near Sisters, Oregon. Caldera added studio residencies in the off season. Sometimes artists are virtually snowed in, a perfect quiet opportunity for intense studio practice. They are holding open studios for the current art residents today.
