July 18 eX...it! Contingent Evolution

Wouldn't it be amazing to live in an 800 year old manor, practice your art there, and invite people from around the world to join you? That is Schloss Bröllin, in the former East Germany. It's been taken over by artists and this year they are organizing their 6th international performance workshop and festival, eX...it!.

Portland performers Meshi Chavez and Stephanie Lanckton have been incorporating the Japanese dance form butoh into their work. They present a benefit performance tonight, Bröllin Voyage!, with dancers Mizu Desierto, Tahni Holt, Jim McGinn, Tracy Broyles, Lisa DeGrace; as well as performances by Lanckton and Chavez themselves.

It is a benefit will help to offset their travel expenses to participate in eX...it! There will be cocktails, drinks, food and a dance party after the performance.
