The Seattle Butoh Festival performances are this weekend with a theme this year of body as politics, hidden histories revealed, the feminine in its multitude of guises, personal primordial journeys and journeys of acceptance, synthesis and unity. That pretty much covers everything, right?
Friday April 7 is Compañía Ruta de la Memoria (from Chile) along with Seattle's Joan Laage and Sheri Brown.
Saturday April 8 is Compañía Ruta de la Memoria (from Chile) along with Seattle's Helen Thorsen and Diana Garcia-Snyder.
Sunday April 9 Ken Mai (from Finland/Japan) performs with Seattle's Kaoru Okumura
