Ervin A Johnson has a series of large scale color photographs which have been altered and with paint added. They are portraits of black lives lost in show #InHonor. Johnson is the 2016 Photolucida Critical Mass Solo Exhibition Award recipient.
Cristián Ureta has Volviendo a la Tierra, photographs of the town of Chuquicamata in Chile. The copper pit mine has been in operation since 1910. As the mine has expanded, the town is being swallowed.
