April 9 The Deep Bench of Reed's Art Collection

Most arts institutions which collect have the majority of their collections in storage or otherwise out of public view. This show from the Reed College collection includes work by Daniel Spoerri, Lynda Benglis, Robert Rauschenberg, Mary Bauermeister, Sol LeWitt and Andy Warhol. Some of the Worhols are Polaroids, an archaic instant film chemistry, now back in manufacture at The Impossible Project. The show, titled Scarecrow, is themed on the body performance.
