February 17 Carolee Schneemann at PCC

Carolee Schneeman is an artist working since the late 1950's as painter, performer, filmmaker, writer. Definitely an artists' artist, and an artist driven by issues. She has inquired into the body, sexuality, experimental dance, food and the socio-political issues of war and feminism. Schneeman speaks of her work in a talk titled Mysteries of the Iconographies.
