Dr Daniel Wilson has a PhD in robots from CMU. He also writes novels about robots. His latest is Robopocalypse. In Wilson's future, it's not hackers, from a far away country, that weave all of our computer systems into a web of evil, but an AI entity. They turn on humans who must struggle to survive. You can read the book in advance of the Dreamworks film, scheduled for 2012, the official end of the world. I hope this story has a happy ending! Wilson talks about his book this evening.
