The Vestibule Gallery, a long hall at Disjecta, marches to its own drum, and sometimes their own opening schedule. Tonight they open Wisconsin artist Michael Velliquette, neo-psychdelic illustration. Some of his paper work reminds of Peter Max. Max was discovered by ad agencies, think Mad Men, in the late '60's when he was in his early 30's, think Thomas Frank's Conquest of Cool.
